Masqueraiders

Masqueraiders is a role-playing game for 3 to 5 players inspired by tokusatsu heroics and detective fiction, and built on the Legacy system and Voidheart Symphony. In it, players will take on the role of Masqueraiders, ordinary people granted the power to transform into super-heroic living weapons in order to battle the Phantasms - monstrosities and villains born from grief, resentment, and the lust for power within human hearts.

This Ashcan Edition features everything you need to begin a campaign of Masqueraiders, but features no art and minimal formatting. Create and play through a series of Investigations, where players must determine the true identity and motivation of their foe before they can strike the finishing blow. Between and during investigations, establish connections with community figures and persons of interests, and draw new power from the resulting relationships - all while balancing world-saving adventures with their lives beneath the mask.
